We’re Gary and Claire, the people behind NestHub. Claire is a childminder, and the idea began with the time and effort involved in keeping her business records organised.
Alongside caring for children, there’s income to record, expenses to track, receipts to keep and mileage to log. We wanted a straightforward way to bring those tasks together.
NestHub is currently in development, with an initial focus on bookkeeping for UK childminders. Our aim is to make everyday record keeping clearer and easier, with feedback from childminders helping shape what comes next.

○ Complete and test the core bookkeeping tools: income, expenses, receipts and mileage
○ Complete HMRC integration and the steps needed for live Making Tax Digital submissions
○ Test with a small group of childminders and act on their feedback
○ Finalise account setup, support and subscription plans
